Its not as easy to aquire nearby talent in GHSA as it is in GISA. However being in a two/(3) school county helps. Their program is at a crossroads and in a mess. Smith is the engine that drives the train here take her out the equation and the record is closer to what it was last year. They need to aquire or develop a companion player for Smith, can Kennedy be that player? Well there's no way Kennedy plays on a another Harris coached team anytime soon. If Harris is fired or released (he was offered to finish out his contract on leave and fully paid) and goes crawling back to WW and Smith's dad decides he doesn't like the new coach then she's gone and they return to what they were before. So many variables in place and it's much more drama off the court that is going to decide the fate of the program than on the court.. I never understood why Mitchell County has that Charter School. I do miss the good Ole days when Mitchell-Baker was a power in both football and basketball. Not to mention, Pelham was pretty decent in Football. No need for 3 Single A schools in a county that size. Not like it's Chatham, Fulton, Dekalb, etc. Really watered down the teams if you ask me. If they combined all schools they would have a decent AA maybe AAA school. I guess they would need the funds to build a new school or expand Mitchell Co HS.

Pelham, Baconton and MC would be AAA but the illusion the MC sports department is putting out says they dont need the other schools, just their players

she did play. just went 1-12. lot of drama going on wonder who will be getting all the credit for points scored by players being coached by other coaches. You are talking in riddles. Spell it out looks like WALB news is reporting that the MCHS coach has been arrested on multiple charges and this is the reason for his suspension . riddle solved
