Dude you're so pathetic. Some High schools in Alabama is grades 8-12. Still - he's playing in Georgia now. Georgia doesn't allow 5 years of eligibility. Y'all brought him in from another state under some bs move. Hopefully our coaches will check this out. He shouldn't be eligible to play next week. Even when Georgia had high schools with 8-12 grades, players couldn't play varsity for 5 years.

If you legit wanna know the answer, go to the other board. Go into the 7A forum and title the question - "Attention Colquitt fans" . Then ask the question. It supposedly happened regularly there with the Rush Propts era.
Pittbull will probably ban you as soon as he logs in though, haha.

Covid year didn’t count or he played limit (one play or less in no more than four games) to be red shirted a year. Trez was redshirted and he was in his 2nd year during the 2020 Covid year.

GHSA rule states 4 years in GA Propst had players play 4 years in Bama should have graduated but didn’t then come play a 5th year of high school but first year in Ga and be legal. Against the intent of the rule but not the letter

In Alabama you have 6 years of varsity eligibility starting in the 7th grade. Thompson near B'ham won the state championship last year in the highest classification with an 8th grade QB. I have seen 7th graders start on varsity in sports other than football. GA has no control over what other states allow. All that matters is his age and grade in school and possibly if he failed one year in 9-12 and was no longer eligible because he had played 4 years after reaching the 9th grade.
This kid from Bowden sure seems to be under your skin Westy.

Hey - we got something for him in Manchester. A REAL college prospect who's played every game of his life in Manchester. Btw, Georgia DOES have a say if a kid has already played four years in one state and tries to come here and play. Ghsa might get a call next week.

He is good if he played as an 8th, 9th, 10, and 11th grader in Alabama.

We're just going to ignore the shameless recruiting which hurt this player and Bowdon having four key players on their roster who didn't play for them last year?
Yet so many of you complain about private schools doing the exact thing.
Look, we beat them earlier in the season, we'll beat them again. But it's funny which teams folks on here choose to ignore sketch behavior.

I'm sure someone already called GSA earlier in the year. They don't really care about Class A. You want to talk about sketchy, check out the Southwest Atlanta girls' basketball team. They didn't even field a team last year but now are one of the favorites in Class A D2. They hired a well-known AAU coach who brought in 7-8 transfers from all around the ATL area. They were all from bigger schools in the ATL area. You can't tell me that crap is right. Now if you tell me there was some recruiting shenanigans with the Bowden kid then I am behind you all the way. As far as shameless recruiting is concerned, all I've heard is he can't play cause he has already played 4 years of varsity in Alabama. It does seem a little sketchy for a Class A school to pick up 4-5 transfers though.
