So basically like par 5 you just can't use your 3 wood, 9 iron or sand wedge. Also I have no idea what rules are enforced, but an official 8man field is 80 yards by 40 yards.

It is football and can be entertaining but 5 eligible players vs 8 defensive players is a big difference compared to 6 vs 11.

Admire the kids and schools for finding a way to keep football going. What I dislike is its unregulated nature. Place a roster limit and make you your choice. Play 11 play 8 or start basketball.

When I was 4 years old, I asked my papa if he knew how to play golf. He replied, "Oh yeah, you just take the stick and knock the sh*t put that ball!"
Was he correct?

gisa fields are 100 x 40 which per square yard per player is more field to use/defend than in 11 man. as for 5/8 eligible vs 6/11, what kid wants to play in games where its more difficult to score?

i would say then they should take there shoes to lowndes or lee co or buford or ... Apparently they have taken their shoes elsewhere, or we wouldn’t be talking about 8-man football.

Our kids head to baconton or pelham, both Charter Schools. Westwood Academics are not for everyone.
