Last week’s results:
CM23 8-0
qbcoach18 7-1 (Ola was the hurter here)
smking27 7-1 (Ola was the hurter here as well)
Another stellar week of pigskin pickin’
Let’s take a look at this week:
Ola – OFF – The Mustangs take a break before their next matchup versus Stockbridge.
Eagles Landing @ Union Grove – Congrats to coach Chad Frazier on his first win as the UG head coach. His guys toppled Apalachee last week 28-12. This week they get the Golden Eagles who stunned the favorite Houston County convincingly 27-7. I like the Eagles in this one. Too much Cam Lewis - Eagles Landing
Hampton @ Woodland-Stockbridge – I like the Pack big in this one. Hampton is improving but Woodland will handle their business at home – Woodland
Locust Grove @ Jones County – This one should be a good one. McDaniel vs Ross in the QB battle. I think the Wildcats will put up a fight, but Jones County under Rogers is a big play machine. Ross and Bolus will carry the load on offense while Langford and company will anchor the defense in a Greyhound win. – Jones County
Dutchtown at Stockbridge – The Dawgs got off to a slow start and bounced back to throttle a much improved Columbia team 43-0. Now comes the true test of just how good this team really is. They go into the Jungle to take on the Tigers. Stockbridge has been the cock of the walk in the region for years now. Coach Whit’s team spotted Lovejoy 7 points and the roared back to claim the victory 21-7. The Tiger defense is ferocious and deep. Dutchtown has the athletes to compete and will. The Dawg defense has also been solid since Fedd took over. They are a blocked punt away from being unscored on this year. But as usual he Tigers will grind on you and try to wear you down. A tough D, at home with Reverend Brown on the mic and a tough ground game. What’s not to like about the Tigers? As for me... I will fly the red and black proudly this week. - Dutchtown!
Good Luck to all!
