Congrats to the Cadets....their 2nd baseball title in the last 4 years....keeping pace with their football program which also won 2 before moving up next school year....the Cadets will continue to be a strong contender in AAA!

Thanks VTown! In addition to baseball the Cadets also won state championships in soccer and tennis as well as the 4 x 100 in track. You will always be our 2AA brother and we will always support Vidalia and the rest of 2AA in the years to come!!

Thanks Vtownsf. I second Outsidelookingin.
Everyone knows BC was in the region with the Savannah schools for many, many years. But the old rivalries with the Savannah publics that dated back to the 40's & 50's are long gone. They had been replaced with Vidalia, Toombs, Jeff Davis, Swainsboro and the rest. And BTW, Region 2 is the King of AA....not region 1.
While AAA overall may be stronger I don't see Region 3-AAA matching the level of competition of 2-AA, except in basketball.

Unless you consider Benedictine alone the entire 3 AAA region. Take Benny out and that fact will hit home soon enough.

Have to disagree sir. GHSA records show that since the year 2000 1-AA has won 6 state championships in boys sports. Region 2-AA has won 20, 13 of which were schools other than Benedictine.
