I have a connection at Cherokee Christian (Woodstock) just tell me that their 8-man AA Championship game is cancelled because of Covid exposure. They presented Unity with a plan to postpone but Unity refused to reschedule and took the forfeit and the league just accepted it. Totally spineless of that AD and coach to accept a forfeit and get a cheap championship if you ask me. Also, why would the league not be the ones to decide if they are going to play or not? What an absolute joke of a league.

We were told in the GISA as well if you miss a game because of Covid-19 in the playoffs then it was a forfeit. Don’t think it was ever tested but that is what I was told.

trojan, that is correct. how do you hold up the playoffs for all, waiting on a team to clear covid restrictions? what if another team tests positive? then you are postponed again. not a great solution - forfeit, but realistic.
