Anyone wanna share their outlook for 3AAA this year. I know the TA boys have a new coach this year and I believe the Brookwood boys do as well. The TA girls lost two key players from last year so it will be interesting to see how they replace them this year. The TA boys return everyone from last years team if I remember correctly except maybe one or two guys.
My 3AAA boys predictions 1. Deerfield 2. Southland 3. Valwood 4. Tiftarea 5. Brookwood
3AAA girls predictions 1. Southland 2. Tiftarea 3. Brookwood 4. Deerfield 5. Valwood

Those look about right to me, plus or minus a new player here & there. Southland boys and girls each lost ONE senior, so they should be primed to run.

DWS has an entirely new roster from what I hear. Amazing how so many basketball players show up with tuition money to be one sport athletes at the tune of about $12k.

Seems odd that Gordy gets whoever he wants in and the kids that wanted to come and play football somehow had a 0% success rate on the entrance exam. Gordy gets what Gordy wants. Nothing else matters to him except boys basketball.

It's very interesting that sport fans always jump on the DW bandwagon when the school gets in new players. DWS has academic standards that must be met inorder to enroll. It wouldn't matter if Steph Curry wanted to come to DW if he couldn't pass the entrance exam and have good grades. There are many good players at other schools in the surrounding area that wanted to come to DW, put couldn't make the academic cut. If you wanted to be prepared for college, and play for one of the best coaches in Georgia, and you were a good student wouldn't you want to play at DW? Maybe those other players couldn't make the academic cut. Don't be so quick to judge!
