Most will probably regret their decision to leave GAPPS. We will see if all the promises made by GISA are fulfilled. I hope the best for everyone.

If anybody and I mean Anybody, is putting their eggs in the "gisa keeping a promise" basket....is not being smart. The schools coming back that are former members should know better. Better management? Maybe but it is his first few months in the job

Really looks bad for GAPPS 11 man to lose those schools. I mean it was already threadbare as far as numbers of teams go. Now, it’s oh so much the worse...which I didn’t think possible. Guess I lacked imagination

Both leagues could probably make it by themselves in any sport except football.

i am interested in hearing what 'promises' were made to get these former schools to come back. they regions they left are less competitive than the ones they are entering, so did they come back for more competition? less travel? a seat at the decision making table? glad they are back but there has to be a reason to jump back to our side of the fence.

My guess is it wasn’t much about football. Probably just the whole travel thing with all sports would be a big and obvious motivation. I mean liked GA Christians facilities, but the drive...man the drive. (From LaGrange)

I remember having to go to Columbus (cept football cause they didn’t play football in the GISA) for Calvary Christian before they left for the GAPPS. I imagine for all the schools mentioned it had to do with travel like you said. Now GCS for example can just travel to all the 3aaa and 3aa schools and won’t be to bad for them outside of Southland, Westwood, Terrell, and SGA and even then I doubt they complain with that travel schedule.
