Oklahoma State professor, and a like minded student of Ludwig Von Mises. Are you a member of the Mises Institute? I was for years. They have a nice building at Auburn Univ. Ron Paul and others contributed to my studies back in the 80's. I am glad people still teach this, but I fear that the world will travel through the valley of death soon. Maybe it will be kept for whatever comes out on the other side. Have you ever pondered this thought? All the civilized countries in the world are debtor nations in that they all owe the same small group of people. Our country is unique to others in that our money is debt from it's creation. For every dollar, there was created a treasury bond of equal value, and paid by the citizens via federal income tax. How did all this happen? How can a relative small group of people have so much power that all the countries of the world are in debt to them? In the 20th century, the world witnessed the greatest transfer of wealth ever recorded.

Yes for several years now. I had planned on stopping by there in my way home over the weekend but we ended up driving home in Claudette so I just skipped that. My daughter starts school in a little over a year. I've been looking into doing the homeschool curriculum promoted by Tom Woods. I've not decided yet which way I'll go with that but I've started studying a lot more to try and get ready to help her.
Being honest regarding everything else you mentioned is hard not wonder sometimes if it'll just be a wasted effort. It's hard to think about what our national financial picture is going look like over the next fifteen years.
