Lost this site for a minute. Now looking to see what people who know than me thinks about how the season has went. Trion looked really strong while winning Dual State. What the thoughts on Traditionals? I was really impressed with quite a few of the Mt. Pisgah kids. This should be a good tournament!

I don't know about knowing more than you But you're right about Pisga, probably have 3-4 solid state champ contenders. Both sectionals look fairly even with heavy hitters in both which should produce a very exciting state tournament with only 12 going this year, there shouldn't be any gimme matches once you hit Macon. As far as the team title at individuals I think Trion is basically a lock as they'll probably send all weight classes and all generate points.

I have heard they are not even keeping Traditional score for teams this year. I know they have been trying to phase this out, but I am not 100% sure if this is the year they are going to do it.

All 14 Trion wrestlers qualified, 13 of the 14 qualified first. Two more Trion wrestlers won their 100th matches yesterday also.

Trion with two state champions, and wins both dual and traditional state titles. This year's Trion seniors have been a special group and will be missed, but the program is built for the long haul.
