The pandemic inflicted higher rates of excess deaths on both Republicans and Democrats. But after COVID-19 vaccines arrived, Republican voters in Florida and Ohio died at a higher rate than their counterparts, according to a new study.
Researchers from Yale University who studied the pandemic's effects on those two states say that from the pandemic's start in March 2020 through December 2021, "excess mortality was significantly higher for Republican voters than Democratic voters after COVID-19 vaccines were available to all adults, but not before."
More specifically, the researchers say, their adjusted analysis found that "the excess death rate among Republican voters was 43% higher than the excess death rate among Democratic voters" after vaccine eligibility was opened.
The different rates "were concentrated in counties with lower vaccination rates, and primarily noted in voters residing in Ohio," according to the study that was published in the journal JAMA Internal Medicine on Monday. NPR

NPR is just reporting the facts of this study. But interestingly, you could google the top 20 states for covid vaccine rates and then compare to the top 20 states for most deaths per 100,000 from covid. Wonder what that would tell us?

What numbers are they using? Unless you live under a rock, you would know that the CDC and other agencies have revised down all numbers concerning covid, and have readily admitted the vaccines didn't reduce deaths or infection rates. Those are well written spin documents you posted. Reality tells a much different story. And remember New York. Did the governor or mayor face prosecution for sending elderly folks that were infected back into nursing homes to spread the virus? Lots of basic information that blows all that junk you post out of the water.

Then post your own data of the top 20 vacination states per 100,000 for covid vs the top 20 states for death rates from covid per 100,000 from the CDC since you mentioned them. Should be quite simple to show. If you can show there's not an inverse relationship, then I will be happy to admit I was wrong.

Not falling for that. You need to start with your own research, and look somewhere else where they don't spoonfeed you lies. You have to be diligent with government websites, as they constantly delete and make it difficult. It is that hard to folks who search, but for drive by artist like you it is probably a strange world. You work with a severely limited knowledge base on most subjects, and I don't see you ever changing. I posted up Congressional hearing a few weeks ago, and you gave a classic bluesmoke response. I will post what I will, but I won't be forcing you to read or engage in anything. You have to do your own for it to have value.
