I noted this in a football post but will post it here and then reply.
"Not giving up much but there was a picture on the WW facebook page at the grace game showing 7 male students watching from the fence. baseball or basketball only kids. parent made a comment on why they were not playing FB but that they should next year. Can't learn the game in the timeframe of being a senior next year. But the basketball bench will have soft cushions with a great view of football kids playing basketball."
That was a parent looking at basketball and baseball only kids supporting their classmates. While the baseball only kid will not get replaced on the diamond, the bulk of starters and first off the bench kids were playing football. Football isn't for everybody, i get it. but if you can't crack the lineup with 12 months of practice, maybe you could....
Fries knows where the tough minded, over 6 foot tall kids will be come December and it will not be watching those 6 kids play basketball

I didn’t know only playing one or two sports in private school was a thing. I thought you were supposed to play three sports and not know any different.

Football also makes you an all round better athlete because of it keeping you in shape and working out all summer and school year long
