Brentwood rebounded from a disappointing loss to Putnam County to defeat the #4 Ranked AA 8 and 1 Spartans in the first round of the Brentwood Christmas Tournament. After a lackluster first half, Brentwood only led by 4 points at the half, Brentwood turned up the defensive pressure in the 3rd quarter to blow the game open. Brentwood’s first five are pretty good. They do not have a lot of depth this year, but Coach Lindsey is playing the second team in a lot of meaningful minutes. It is turning some big Brentwood leads into close games , but the first five are responding to to the challenge.

small little orange monsters are sitting in front of the tv watching Brentwood games. they are sleeping at night dreaming of one day watching Brentwood live on the hardwood. orange monsters are saving each and every dime to buy gas and tickets to go to macon and see Brentwood hoist a trophy. NO buckees for these monsters, just eat, sleep Brentwood Basketball. Don't be surprised if the SGA gym has an orange tint in the warriors gym very soom.

Brentwood will have to play a lot better if they plan on competing for a State Championship. Brentwood’s shooting is not very good right now and they are around 40 % on their free throws. That is not a recipe for winning close games. Brentwood’s first five are pretty good. Brentwood does not have the depth they have had in past couple of years. Coach Lindsey has a record of developing that depth as the season progresses. Look forward to the trip to Damascus in February.
