Help with the bump, correct me if I am wrong but no upsets in the first round for any bracket. That in it's self is pretty interesting.

There were some close calls in several games but none of the lower seeds could pull it off Yes SGA was a 9 seed and beat Briarwood but I don’t really consider 9 beating 8 an upset

Seems like the power rankings might work and be the best method? What do you guys think?
Selfishly I wish we had only 3 classifications and went back to region seedlings/standings after the region tournament determining the playoff seeds but that’s probably just me wanting to go back to the good ol days

There will always be some outliers at times. Few years back I know that Furtah had no business being as low as they were think they were an 8 seed. Firedawg will correct me I know haha. Selfishly I wish they’d go back to the region seedings from the tournaments cause I’m old school but truth be told with them splitting AAA/AAAA like they do power rankings make the most sense cause there’s not enough teams in each class. You probably could do region standings for A and AA but they won’t have 2 different systems for all the classes.

The biggest issue with the region seeding is the size of each district. Playoff of 12 or 14 teams make it easy for schools to use the region playoff games to place better in the brackets.
2017-2018 AA boys was a prime example, GISA already had which region seeding would go for rounds 1-4. I am sure no team threw a region playoff game on purpose to not play the obvious winner that year but it sure looked like they did.
