Thoughts and inputs on this game ?? It should be interesting, Wayne County is finding its footing under a new head coach. While TCC is having to rebuild all over the field. One thing is for sure when the final buzzer sounds the Yellow Jackets will win!

Hopefully TCC's coaches won't be to stubborn to play their best QB (the freshman). I don't care what grade he is in, if he's the best put him on the field and let the other two kids help us elsewhere.

Im not really sure what to expect in this one. Just for some kind of football talk, i'll give my 2 cents on the things that i wanna see.
Playing against an offense like the one TCC runs, you have to play disciplined defense. I wanna see how our guys stack up against that. I think we have the potential to have a pretty good front 7. I mainly wanted to see the play of our young secondary. 4 new starters in that dept. Offensively, i wanna see how our big oline performs together as a unit. Some pretty big boys up front and the coaches seem pretty excited about that unit. I think everyone pretty much knows what he have at RB. So depending on the oline play, we should have a good run game. I would also like to see how much our QB and receivers have come along together with all the 7 on 7's this summer.
Im not sure what we have on special teams as far as kicking duties. I dont think we punted or kicked an extra point all night in the spring scrimmage. Also i would love to see what kind of depth we have on both sides of the ball.
For the fans making the trip, make sure to bring something for the rain. I think its a 50-60% chance of raining Friday night, so a heads up on that.
Safe travels to the guys in Blue and Gold. Im sure its gonna be a fun one. And prayers that no players get hurt. I think both teams will walk away knowing the areas that they need work in. That the whole point of a scrimmage right?

Rainy weather and papermill stank, thats not a good combo for the people who aren't use to it.

Looking forward to making the Trip Friday night..Trust me TCC has shoes to fill on both sides of the ball. We have some players that will be good ball players, but that is going to take time. Wayne should have the advantage with TCC having a young OL. TCC does have a good stable of RBs but if the holes are not there that will be of little value. This will be a good measuring stick as to progress being made.
